JDM Yard 10th Anniversary

Headed to JDM Yard's new shop in Smithfield over the weekend to check out their 10th Anniversary meet. Got up bright and early that day to put the back seats back in since I took them out for my birthday trackday. Decided to take my cousin with me as well so I picked him up and swung past the carwash to give my car a quick wash before the meet. I didn't take that many photos since it was too hot and I even got sunburnt. But here are the some of the ones I did take.
Finally got to see Fonzy's Celica again, it's been so long since I've last seen it.
Rob's CRX, the day before he managed to lap Wakefield in 1:14.6, which is amazingly fast for a CRX. His car has pretty much the same mods I've got but I think the time difference has to be the tyres. KU31s just don't cut it anymore haha, need to upgrade when I'm due for another set.
Also spotted a set of Work CR01 wheels, these are my favourite wheels at the moment and they are mighty fine! But when I do get mine, I'm going to get a custom set from Osaka JDM.
This car got my attention with it's clean and subtle look. The blue paint is something different and it's not stupid low like a lot of the cars lately either. Might try and line up a shoot for it since the blue just comes out so well. It also took home the "Best Paint" award on the day.
I came late so got a shit parking spot but once everyone left it gave me a chance for this quick snap. Finally got my J's Racing lip on after so many years of it sitting in my garage. Kim and I actually put it on the night before, after attending my cousin's wedding too.
A mate also managed to score me a couple of cans of Coffee Boss from his mate who came to visit from Japan so I grabbed them off him at the meet. Not sure if I should save them for a special occasion or drink them already.
Chilling in the shade and catching up, best part of the meet for me.
Honestly, I was hoping to see some more variety at the meet but it still seems to be the same cars over and over again. But I was happy that I got to catch up with a lot of old friends that I haven't seen in a while and there were one or two cars that got my attention. One was an EF Civic that took home the "Best Oldschool" award, which I'm hoping I'd get to spend some time with and see it up close and personal in the near future. I've been in the mood for shooting cars again recently, unfortunately it was too hot at this meet and I found myself chilling with friends and catching up rather than doing rounds with my camera.
